Quiet

Rationale: Apple designs their computers to be quiet. I don't think anyone wants a noisy computer, but so many computers are. Have you listened to a Windows-based laptop? Eek!
Result: I selected a highly-rated case that has variable speed fans and good construction to limit vibrations.

Are you looking for my master's project on bike parking in Chicago or the bike parking white paper?

My projects

These are projects (DIY, homemade, what have you) I've been working on the past few years or just started today. In 2010, I've realized that I spend too much money on DIY projects so going forward I need to pay more attention to intentions, goals, and most of all, my time and money.

Gathering input from residents is important to developing a city's cycle strategy. By involving citizens in planning for the future, they become more engaged in their communities, appreciate and maintain amenities built as part of the plan, and help planners prioritize projects. Additionally, residents who are involved in the cycle strategy are more likely to endorse good proposals.

I love being cynical. Sometimes it's more fun than being one of her prettier step sisters like rational and logical. If people who bike want more bike lanes, then they should take the approach of convincing other people why there should be more bike lanes. And since most people are driving and not biking, the message should be adapted and targeted to that audience. In that respect, I propose the following advocacy campaign:
