In this blog I wrote, I said there are 10 full-service grocery stores within 25 minutes by bike of my house. I didn't actually count all the grocery stores within 25 minutes (about 4 miles), but I guessed because I visit a lot of grocery stores, the choice based on my route of the moment.

I wanted to get a more accurate number and I came up with this list in 10 minutes:

8. Dominick's in West Loop - 3.5 miles
9. Whole Foods in South Loop - 2.5 miles
10. Jewel on Des Plaines - 3.5 miles
11. Target in South Loop - 2.5 miles
12. Target in McKinley Park - 1.5 miles
13. Dominick's in Bridgeport - 1.5 miles
14. Fairplay Finer Foods in Canaryville - 2 miles
15. Halsted Foods in Bridgeport - <1 mile

A Trader Joe's will open in the South Loop 3 miles away.
